We select the best in-season avocados, which means the avocado type may vary. To request a specific type, please include a note with your order.

Our Family Farm
Nordeen Organic Farm has produced organic California avocados for over 40 years in North County, San Diego. We have long practiced the principles of sustainable/organic farming and have chosen to make our high quality fruit available directly to customers.
Removing the "middle man", packing houses, and large chain retailers from the equation means our fruit arrives at your home without requiring pesticides, artificial fertilizers, ethylene gassing or cold storage.

The Hass avocado variety has been the mainstay of our commercial business. Its rich flavor rivals that of the Fuerte and, due to its thick skin, ships much better than the more delicate Fuertes and Bacons.
However, we have seen a resurgence in demand for the Fuerte and Bacon varieties and we continue to offer both early in the season.
We have recently planted the Reed and Lamb Hass varieties which are ready to eat in late summer and fall.
We are on the path to have fresh, organic California avocados year-round!
Currently we are shipping from November – July. We notify all of our customers when we are up and shipping again. We are making investments in the farm to offer fruit year-round and recently planted Reed and Lamb Hass, which should be available in the late summer.

We select the best in-season avocados, which means the avocado type may vary. To request a specific type, please include a note with your order. If no preference is noted, we’ll select the best avocados available at the time of packing.
If a specific variety is requested and it is temporarily unavailable, your order may be held until that variety is ready to ship.
Your box of California avocados fits perfectly into a medium USPS flat rate box and can be shipped anywhere in the continental US, the US Virgin Islands, and Puerto Rico. Oh, and shipping is free!
We pick and package your avocados on the same day. The next day, your order hits the post office and starts it's trek to your kitchen.
Since Mother Nature determines when the optimal picking time is, we cannot guarantee an exact delivery date, however, we will ship your avocados within a week of your order.
We pick your fruit at its optimal ripeness to maximize the probability of you receiving perfect avocados. Your fruit will arrive within a week from hanging on the tree!
Absolutely! Our California avocado boxes are a perfect healthy & delicious gift for your loved ones. On the checkout page, input a different mailing address than billing address and we'll know this is for a gift. There is also a place to leave additional special instructions or a personalized note!
