Ingredients

  • 1 ripe organic avocado
  • 1 handful fresh spinach
  • 1 cup milk (dairy or plant-based such as almond or oat)
  • 1/2 cup vanilla yogurt
  • 2-3 tbsp honey or maple syrup
  • 6-8 ice cubes (optional)

Optional Additions:
  • Chia seeds
  • Pinch of salt
  • Squeeze of fresh lime juice

Instructions

  1. Cut the avocado in half, remove the pit, and scoop the flesh into a blender.
  2. Add the spinach, milk, yogurt, honey (or maple syrup), and ice cubes in a blender. Blend until smooth and creamy.
  3. Taste and adjust sweetness if needed.
  4. Pour into a glass and enjoy while fresh for best flavor.
Pro Tip: If storing, keep the smoothie in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 24 hours. Shake or stir well before drinking.
